The Royal Mint Bar - Queen's Beasts 1 Ounce Gold is a unique investment product from the renowned The Royal Mint. This piece depicts ten heraldic animals symbolising the royal heritage of Queen Elizabeth II - mother of His Majesty King Charles III.
In 1953, these statues of The Queen's Beasts guarded Westminster Abbey during the coronation of Elizabeth II. The design is inspired by the statues that adorn the entrance to Hampton Court Palace, symbolizing the power of Henry VIII and the Tudor dynasty. A modern version of these legendary beasts was designed by Jody Clark and the Royal Mint design team.
Each piece of gold is made of pure metal with a purity of Au.9999, weighs 1 troy ounce and measures 32 x 32 mm.
Each gold alloy is additionally stamped with a UK guarantee of legality, purity and origin. The product is housed in its original certipack.
The obverse side features the Royal Mint logo and information about the purity and weight of the metal.
