Bring or send your gold bar to Golden House and we will let you exchange it for a new Argor-Heraeus bar of the same weight.

No need to sell your gold first and then buy it again.

Gold does not lose its value over time. Its packaging, design or brand, however, can age.

That is why we have created a service that lets you easily “rejuvenate” your investment bar.

Why exchange your bar?

When selling a bar with damaged packaging or a damaged CertiPack, the buyback price may be reduced depending on the terms of the particular dealer, in some cases by as much as several percent.

By exchanging it for a new bar, you can avoid an unpleasant surprise when you sell in the future.

What is more, a new bar simply looks better, presents better and can also be more attractive as a future gift or as part of an investment portfolio.

With Argor-Heraeus bars, you can also switch to a more modern version or choose a Kinebar® with its distinctive Kinegram® holographic security feature.

And above all, you do not have to deal with selling the old bar separately and then buying a new one.

How does the exchange work?

You bring your bar to our Golden House branch, or send it to us by post.

We verify its authenticity, weight, manufacturer and condition. After the inspection, we will tell you the exact price of the exchange according to the current service price list.

If the new bar you want is in stock, you can leave with it straight away.

When exchanging by post, you send us your old bar yourself and at your own cost. Choose Czech Post as the shipping method in the cart; the postage, based on the total weight, is shown right in the cart. After you place the order, you will receive a proforma invoice for the service and postage by e-mail. Once we have verified your bar and the proforma invoice has been paid, we will send you the new bar by Czech Post as an insured parcel (delivery within the Czech Republic).

Old gold? No. A fresh start.

Investment gold can stay with you for decades. But there is no reason for it to spend just as long in damaged packaging or an old design.

Bring or send your bar. Choose a new one. We will take care of the rest.

We exchange

• Argor-Heraeus bars in the older design, even with damaged packaging,
• standard Argor-Heraeus bars for Argor-Heraeus Kinebar®,
• gold bars from reputable refineries on the LBMA Good Delivery List, such as Valcambi, PAMP, Heraeus, Metalor, Umicore, Degussa and others, for new Argor-Heraeus bars,
• weights from 1 g up to 1,000 g depending on the specific service option.

The bar may be in older or damaged packaging. The exchange is subject to successful verification of the bar’s authenticity, weight and parameters.

The availability of individual weights and the final price of the exchange are governed by the current service price list and stock availability.
