Platinum coin Year of the Dragon 1 Oz 2024 - LUNAR SERIES III.

The Year of the Dragon 2024 1 Oz Platinum Coin is the fifth coin in the Lunar Series III from the Australian Perth Mint. The coin is struck from 1 ounce of 99.95% pure platinum and celebrates the Year of the Dragon. The coin features a portrait of a dragon with stylized waves and mist, which indicates its control over the elements. On the reverse of the coin, both the Chinese character for "dragon" and the inscription "DRAGON 2024" and the Perth Mint's "P125" mint mark, marking the 125th anniversary of the mint. The 1 Oz coin includes a special security feature in the form of a microlaser-engraved letter, which is only visible under a magnifying glass, which significantly complicates the possibility of counterfeiting the coins.
The reverse of the coin depicts a commemorative portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark with the years of her reign "ELIZABETH II 1952-2022", the denomination "100 DOLLARS", the weight and fineness "1oz 9995 Pt" and the country of origin "AUSTRALIA".
The coin is minted in 1 size of 1 oz in 99.95% pure platinum. The coin issue is only 5000 pieces.
