The 2016 Canada 1.5 oz Silver Snowy Gyrfalcon 8 dollars coin is a beautiful piece from the Royal Canadian Mint, combining investment parameters with a truly striking motif of Arctic nature. The reverse depicts a snowy gyrfalcon in flight, typically predatory, fast and confident, exactly the style of motif that stands out on silver even without color. The coin is minted in Brilliant Uncirculated quality from .9999 pure silver and, thanks to its weight of 1.5 troy ounces, approx. 46.65 g, it looks and feels more impressive in the hand than a standard one-ounce coin.
