The Steampunk coin series concludes with its sixth and final release: Aviation. Steampunk, a retrofuturistic subculture blending Victorian-era imagination with futuristic innovation, has fascinated collectors, artists, and storytellers since its rise in the 1980s. This spectacular 3 oz silver coin pays tribute to that genre’s bold vision of air travel and exploration.
Struck in ultra-high relief with an antique finish and accented by partially gold-plated elements, the design highlights imaginative aviation-inspired machines, showcasing how 19th-century inventors might have envisioned modern flight. True to the series’ legacy, the artist has cleverly hidden five subtle clues referencing the earlier editions, a special detail for long-time collectors to uncover.
With only 888 coins worldwide, the 2025 Aviation Steampunk Silver Coin is both a celebration of an enduring cultural phenomenon and a fitting finale to one of the most creative modern numismatic series.
