Beloved marsupial
In addition to its credible weight and purity, the Australian Koala Silver Coins boast exquisite year-round artwork that captures the essence of these gentle animals. In 2025, the coin depicts a day in the life of a koala high in the peaceful sanctuary of the eucalyptus treetops.
Koala design in 2025
The coin depicts a cute koala lying on a tree branch amidst eucalyptus foliage. The reverse of the coin features the inscriptions "KOALA" and The Perth Mint's "P" mintmark, along with the weight, fineness and year 2025.
Authenticity verification element
For added peace of mind, the coin contains an authentication feature in the form of a microlaser-engraved letter. This is detectable under a magnifying glass and is designed to make counterfeiting the coin significantly more difficult.
