Batman – Gotham City's guardian, born of pain.
As a young boy, Bruce Wayne witnessed the murder of his parents on the infamous Crime Alley. The tragedy forever changed his life and transformed him into the Dark Knight, a relentless crime fighter.
To become the ultimate protector of his city, he has pushed his body and mind to the absolute limit. He is a brilliant detective, a martial arts master, a technological genius and a relentless strategist. But his greatest weapon is his wits - Batman has a plan for every situation, as well as an arsenal of weapons, cutting-edge gadgets and vehicles to aid him in his never-ending fight for justice.

The reverse of the coin bears the nominal value, surrounded by oak and laurel branches – symbols of strength and honour. The composition is completed by the inscription “République Française” and stylised lines representing the territory of France.
