In 2025, on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the founding of DC COMICS, Monnaie de Paris pays tribute to iconic characters from this famous comic book world. Legends such as Batman - The Dark Knight, Superman - The Man of Steel, Wonder Woman - The Amazonian warrior, Catwoman, as well as famous villains The Joker and Harley Quinn appear on the coins.
Inspired by the original comics, this exceptional collection of gold and silver bullion coins features heroes and villains from the DC COMICS universe. Each coin faithfully reflects the character’s personality and superpowers – with detailed engraving and rich colors that transport you directly to this legendary universe.

Orphaned on the streets of Gotham City, Selina Kyle became a thief to survive. After years of training, she mastered both theft and combat, and now, as Catwoman, she robs the rich and corrupt in her cat costume. Unlike most criminals, she balances between good and evil - and her deeds are often heroic, if illegal.
Catwoman is a master of martial arts and acrobatics. She is as stealthy as a ninja, an expert in burglary, and her main weapons are a whip and sharp claws - ideal for climbing buildings and fighting. She often uses her charm and flirtation with her opponents, especially Batman, to throw them off balance.

The reverse of the coins depicts the denomination, surrounded by two branches – oak and laurel – symbolising the values of the euro. The reverse is further bordered by the inscription “République Française” and a composition of lines representing France.
