Gold coin 5000 CZK Bouzov Castle 2017 Standard

On May 30, 2017, the Czech National Bank issued the third gold coin from the Castles series. Its theme is Bouzov Castle. The coin is minted from 999.9 fine gold and is issued in two versions, regular and proof, which differ in the surface finish and edge design. In top-quality coins, the field of the coin is highly polished and the relief is matted, the edge is smooth. Regular-quality coins have a serrated edge. The diameter of the coin is 28 mm, the weight is 15.55 g and the thickness is 2.15 mm. When minting coins, deviations of 0.1 mm in diameter and 0.15 mm in thickness are allowed. The weight is allowed to deviate up to 0.062 g and the gold content to deviate up to 0.01%. The obverse of the coin shows a detail of the castle wall with an arcade. Banners with heraldic animals from the great state emblem are hung under the arches. Around the circumference of the coin, in an unclosed copy, there is the name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC", the denomination of the coin "5,000" with the abbreviation of the monetary unit "Kč" and the name of the cycle "CASTLES". Individual words and designations are separated by dots. The mark of the Czech Mint, which is formed by a composition of the letters "Č" and "M", is placed under the castle wall. The reverse of the coin depicts Bouzov Castle with part of the entrance bridge and walls. In an unclosed copy near the upper edge, there is the text "HRAD BOUZOV", the year of minting "2017" and the initials of the coin's creator, MgA. Josef Oplištil, which are formed by the connected letters "J" and "O". Individual words and designations are separated by dots.
